Worked on IPM of
sugarcane pests. Reared different egg
parasitoids such as Telenomus &
Trichogramma spp., larval parasitoids such
as Cotesia flavipes, Stenobracon deesae,
Rhaconotus scirpophagae and Elasmus
zehntneri and pupal parasitoid such as
Isotima javensis. Periodic releases of
parasitoids were made over 60,000 acres of
sugarcane. Comparative studies were also made
to determine the impact of augmentation.
